瀬戸彩里鈴は、XARTで「アリス社長」として活動する表現者。

これまで、数多くのイラスト作品の制作、印刷、色校正、紙選び、額装、展示に関わり、作品が“データ”から“現実の一枚”へと立ち上がる過程を見つめてきた。

その経験を背景に、現在は水彩、墨、書を用いた紙上作品を制作している。

彼女の作品にあるのは、完全に制御された美しさではなく、にじみ、かすれ、筆の揺れといった、紙の上で起こる不確実な現象へのまなざしである。

瀬戸彩里鈴は、その不確実性を消すのではなく、観測し、選び取り、紙に残す。

Seto Alice is the artist name of Alice Shacho, a creative figure at XART.

Through her work with paper, color, printmaking, framing, and exhibition design, she has spent years observing how images become physical works.

She now creates works on paper using watercolor, ink, and calligraphy.

Her practice focuses on the uncertain phenomena that occur on paper: bleeding color, fading ink, and the movement of the brush.

Rather than controlling them completely, she observes, selects, and leaves them as records.
